Plainview is 8-2 against Palo Duro since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Dons at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Plainview lost 3-0 to Lubbock-Cooper on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Palo Duro came up short against Coronado on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Palo Duro was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13, 25-22.

Palo Duro's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Plainview, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-18.

Everything went Plainview's way against Palo Duro in their previous matchup back in September, as Plainview made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Dons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
