Football Recap: Panther Creek Takes a Loss

After soaring to 49 points the game before, Panther Creek was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They had to suffer through a 61-6 loss at the hands of the Water Valley Wildcats. The loss put an end to the Panthers' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Panther Creek fell to 2-1. As for Water Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Panther Creek will venture away from home to take on Lueders-Avoca at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Water Valley, they will face off against Buena Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
