Volleyball Recap: Excel's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Excel waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Escambia County Blue Devils. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

In the three sets Excel was on fire: they won each by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-4, 25-10, 25-14.

Kensley Rowell went supernova, getting 11 assists and eight aces. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high.

Rowell wasn't the only good servers: Excel was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 27 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive contests.

Excel's record now sits at 14-9. As for Escambia County, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Excel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Escambia County, they will take on W.S. Neal at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
