Softball Game Preview: McBee Panthers vs. Lamar Silver Foxes

The McBee Panthers will head out to face off against the Lamar Silver Foxes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

McBee's last matchup with Lewisville could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Panthers came up short against the Lions, falling 15-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Lamar came up short against Lewisville on Wednesday and fell 8-3.

Lamar saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mallory Bullard, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for McBee, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3.

McBee took their win against Lamar in their previous matchup last Tuesday by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
