St. Charles and the Sherwood Warriors will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Charles is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.2 points per game this season.
Last Thursday, St. Charles earned a 59-49 victory over Westlake. Given St. Charles' advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while Westlake is ranked 117th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Charles to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyoko Johnson-Reeves, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. With that strong performance, Johnson-Reeves is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaela Spears, who posted 12 points along with seven boards and five steals.
St. Charles smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 18 consecutive matches dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Sherwood didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Richard Montgomery on Friday, but they still walked away with a 39-34 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.
St. Charles better keep an eye on Adrianna Nnabue. She was instrumental in Sherwood's win, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Nnabue a new career-high in blocks (three). Avery Graham was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.
The victory got Sherwood back to even at 3-3. As for St. Charles, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: St. Charles has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 42.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Sherwood struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.5 boards.
