Volleyball Recap: Mesquite Comes Up Short

Mesquite's tournament run continued when they took on Millard South on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots.

Caprice Charlie paced Mesquite's offense, picking up six kills. Charlie got some help from Cami White and her nine assists.

Mesquite's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Millard South, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Mesquite has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against DuPont Manual on the 27th. As for Millard South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Desert Ridge on the 27th.
