Softball Recap: Pendleton Gets the Win

Pendleton was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Weston-McEwen/Griswold on Tuesday. The Buckaroos never let the Tiger Scots get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Buckaroos, who have now won nine contests by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Pendleton's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Weston-McEwen/Griswold, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Pendleton is taking a road trip to face off against Ontario at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Buckaroos are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Weston-McEwen/Griswold, they will head out to square off against Stanfield/Echo at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
