San Marcos beats Rancho Bernardo for their fourth straight win

Recap: San Marcos Knights vs. Rancho Bernardo Broncos
The San Marcos Knights won against the Rancho Bernardo Broncos last Friday with 27 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. San Marcos took down Rancho Bernardo 27-10. The win was familiar territory for San Marcos who now have four in a row.
Kreet Makihele looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 353 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.7 yards per attempt. Jase Nix did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 184 receiving yards.
San Marcos' win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Rancho Bernardo, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Marcos will take on Del Norte at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Del Norte is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games. As for Rancho Bernardo, they will head out on the road to face off against Mt. Carmel at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Carmel will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while Rancho Bernardo is ranked 177th).
