Volleyball Recap: Dalton Comes Up Short

Dalton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Armuchee Indians. The Catamounts were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Dalton actually scored more points across those three sets (61-57), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 26-24, 16-25, 15-12.

Dalton's record now sits at 20-10. As for Armuchee, their victory bumped their record up to 22-13.

Coincidentally, Dalton and Armuchee will both be playing Pepperell the next time they take the court. The Catamounts will head out to face the Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
