Basketball Game Preview: The Cambridge School Griffins vs. High Tech CV Bruins

The Cambridge School Griffins will face off against the High Tech CV Bruins at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, The Cambridge School came up short against Bayfront Charter and fell 59-47. The Griffins have struggled against the Sharks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, High Tech CV had just enough and edged O'Farrell Charter out 46-44 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bruins.

The Cambridge School better keep an eye on Kyle Ilagan. He was instrumental in High Tech CV's win, going 8 for 15 en route to 26 points and five rebounds. The game was Ilagan's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Lazo, who posted six points.

High Tech CV's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for The Cambridge School, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

The Cambridge School ended up a good deal behind High Tech CV in their previous meeting back in May of 2021, losing 59-42. Can The Cambridge School avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
