Volleyball Game Preview: Warrenton Warriors vs. Holt Indians

Warrenton hasn't had much luck against Holt recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Warriors will take on the Indians at 5:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Warrenton came up short against St. Charles and fell 3-1. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Pirates 25-17 in the first set.

Warrenton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-14, 25-14, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Holt waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They blew past the Eagles 3-0.

One reason for the win was Holt's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-21, 25-16.

Warrenton's loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Holt, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3.

Warrenton might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Holt when the teams last played on October 2nd. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
