Basketball Game Recap: Stillwater Pioneers vs. Broken Arrow Tigers

After flying high against the Millwood Falcons on Friday, the Stillwater Pioneers came back down to earth. Stillwater's tough 70-47 loss to Broken Arrow on Saturday might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Stillwater can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 349th, while Broken Arrow is ranked 115th).

It was another big night for McKenzie Mathurin, who scored 30 points along with three steals for Broken Arrow. The game was Mathurin's 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taryn Jacobs, who scored 11 points.

Stillwater's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Broken Arrow, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.
