Baseball Recap: Idaho City Takes a Loss

Idaho City lost against Glenns Ferry two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Pilots by a score of 6-5.

Idaho City saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Goodman, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Another was Logan Jackson, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Idaho City's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Glenns Ferry, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-11-1.

Idaho City didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-5 victory against Garden Valley on the 30th. As for Glenns Ferry, they will challenge North Star at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pilots will need to watch out since the Huskies have now posted at least ten runs in their last five games.
