Baseball Game Preview: Boiling Springs Bubblers vs. Waynesboro Indians

Boiling Springs is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Monday. They will challenge the Waynesboro Indians at 4:15 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Boiling Springs came up short against Muhlenberg on Friday, falling 10-1. The Bubblers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Boiling Springs got a good showing from Phoenix Houser, who tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

Meanwhile, Waynesboro had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of New Oxford by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Indians have suffered since May 7, 2024.

Boiling Springs now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Waynesboro, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Boiling Springs skirted past Waynesboro 3-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Boiling Springs repeat their success, or does Waynesboro has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
