Basketball Recap: Tri-West Hendricks Skates Past Frankfort with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tri-West Hendricks). They blew past the Frankfort Hot Dogs, posting an 89-15 win. The Bruins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 27 points or more this season.

Tri-West Hendricks was led to victory by Lauren Bear and Aniyah Anthony. Bear went 6 for 9 on her way to 17 points and four steals, while Anthony went 6 of 10 on her way to 14 points in addition to five boards and four steals. Bear's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Canada, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.

The victory (which was Tri-West Hendricks' third in a row) raised their record to 6-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points per game. As for Frankfort, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the defeat, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Tri-West Hendricks wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 68-49 loss against Sheridan on the 17th. As for Frankfort, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-12 defeat against Tri-Central on the 17th.
