Basketball Recap: Oelrichs Takes a Loss

Oelrichs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. The contest between them and the Takini Skyhawks didn't end well, with the Oelrichs Tigers falling 62-46. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Skyhawks earlier this season, when they won 81-29.

Oelrichs' loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Takini, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oelrichs will venture away from home to take on Edgemont at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Edgemont has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Takini, they will head out on the road to face off against Flandreau Indian at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
