Baseball Recap: Dwight Morrow Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Dwight Morrow had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Ridgefield Memorial on Saturday. The Maroon Raiders blew past the Royals 11-0. With that victory, the Maroon Raiders brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

William Lopez and Angel Garcia did most of the damage at the plate: Lopez went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Garcia got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs Lopez has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Adrian Gonzalez, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
