Baseball Game Preview: Center Point Pirates vs. Goldthwaite Eagles

For the second straight game, Center Point will face off against Goldthwaite. Center Point will host Goldthwaite at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Center Point is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Center Point lost 15-5 to Goldthwaite on Friday.

For Goldthwaite's part, they got a massive performance out of Aidyn Lee, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Lee also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jack Wetzig, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Lee wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Goldthwaite kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2024.

The win snapped Goldthwaite's losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-11 record. As for Center Point, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
