Softball Game Preview: Booker Tornadoes vs. Southeast Seminoles

The Booker Tornadoes will head out to face off against the Southeast Seminoles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southeast took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Booker, who comes in off a win.

While Tornadoes fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Thursday's season opener. They were the clear victor by a 29-9 margin over Gibbs on Thursday. The Tornadoes have beaten the Gladiators the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Gladiators has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Braden River, falling 23-0.

Everything went Booker's way against Southeast in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Booker made off with a 22-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Booker since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
