Anchor Bay had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Monday. They never let the L'Anse Creuse Lancers get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. 11 seems to be a good number for the Tars as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Mason Erikson looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Isaiah Domey and Ty Finkbeiner did most of the damage at the plate: Domey went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Finkbeiner went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Domey has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Jackson Muirhead, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Anchor Bay lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Anchor Bay's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-9. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for L'Anse Creuse, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anchor Bay will square off against Utica Eisenhower at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for L'Anse Creuse, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakeview at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
