Basketball Game Preview: Berry Cardinals vs. West Cabarrus Wolverines + Official Tickets

Berry is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Friday. They will host the West Cabarrus Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. West Cabarrus took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Berry, who comes in off a win.

Berry was handed a 37-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Rocky River 33-31. The game was the first time the Cardinals have beaten the Ravens on their court since November 29, 2019.

Meanwhile, West Cabarrus played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by North Mecklenburg 66-24. The matchup marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for West Cabarrus and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Berry, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.
