Basketball Recap: Liberty Gets the Win

Liberty won the last time they faced Warren County and things went their way on Monday too. The Liberty Eagles walked away with a 62-55 win over the Warren County Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Toby James was his usual excellent self, going 6 of 9 on his way to 14 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Eddie Rodman, who posted seven points and 11 boards.

Despite the loss, Warren County still got an impressive performance from Adrian Craig, who had 19 points and five rebounds. Craig is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Ethan Bare was another key player, putting up eight points and ten boards.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Warren County, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Liberty has already played their next match, a 78-42 loss against Meridian on the 28th. As for Warren County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 78-49 defeat against Fauquier on the 28th.
