Soccer Recap: Randolph School Comes Up Short

After flying high against Russellville on Friday, Randolph School came back down to earth. The Randolph School Raiders fell 3-1 to the Hebron Christian Lions on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 115th in Alabama, while the Lions are ranked 26th in Georgia).

Randolph School has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. The win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Randolph School will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Luke's Episcopal at 5:30 p.m. on March 13th. As for Hebron Christian, they have already played their next matchup, an 11-1 victory against Mount Pisgah Christian on the 4th.
