Fayette Ware had won 14 straight games and Tarecous Stevens did his part to make it 15 on Tuesday. The Fayette Ware Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 62-59 win over the Haywood Tomcats with plenty of help from Stevens, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 15 boards. He has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more rebounds the last 14 times he's played.

Despite the loss, Haywood still got an impressive performance from Jaybyon Snipe, who almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine boards. That was a full 39% of Haywood's points, marking the third time in a row Snipe has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'Malachi Bond, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 11 points.

Fayette Ware's victory bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Haywood, their loss dropped their record down to 15-13.
