Softball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

The Columbia Coyotes came up short against the Kennewick Lions on Saturday, falling 8-2.

Columbia's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Kennewick, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Columbia will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Goldendale at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kennewick, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will square off against Othello at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
