Basketball Recap: Senedot Stripes Takes a Loss

Senedot Stripes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 43-20 to Harvest Temple Christian Academy. Senedot Stripes was down 38-14 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Lucas Weirich continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Harvest Temple Christian Academy, going 6-for-9 to rack up 14 points in addition to six rebounds and three blocks. Weirich is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last seven games he's played. Sam Leonetti was another key player, putting up eight points along with nine boards and three steals.

Senedot Stripes' defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Harvest Temple Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

Senedot Stripes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harvest Temple Christian Academy, they have already played their next game, a 35-28 loss against Northwest Ohio Christian Home Educators on the 1st.
