Volleyball Recap: L.C. Bird Takes a Loss

L.C. Bird managed to slip by Manchester the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Skyhawks lost 3-0 to the Lancers on Tuesday. The Skyhawks' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

L.C. Bird's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Manchester, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. L.C. Bird will take on Monacan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Manchester and Clover Hill will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
