League recap: Hallock's hot bat leads Fox Lane

Section 1 Conference 3 - B league recap: 5/29/12

T.j Hallock was on fire this week, as he led Section 1 Conference 3 - B with a .600 average, one home run and seven RBIs. Fox Lane compiled a record of 2-0 in that time.

Behind a 2-0 record over the past week, Harrison made the biggest jump in the national rankings, all the way from 2535 to 1935. The Huskies are currently No. 44 in the New York state rankings, with an overall record of 18-4.

Harrison's pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only nine hits and three walks, both of which led the league. The Huskies' pitchers have been charged with only 129 hits and have struck out 147 batters. Max Bruckner is tops on the staff with 57 Ks.

Tim Degraw had four hits in four at bats in Rye's 4-3 victory over Panas on Wednesday. He also drove in one runners and scored four runs.



Chris Tomassi was the player of the game on Saturday, with five RBIs in Fox Lane's 7-6 victory over New Rochelle.
