Coleman is 8-2 against Vestaburg since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Comets will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Coleman made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Montabella, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Comets never let the Mustangs get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Wednesday.

Kendall Allen made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Allen was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, Coleman got a massive performance out of Raegen McCoy, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with four RBI and two runs. Another player making a difference was Sydney Bovee, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Coleman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .690. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Vestaburg put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past St. Charles 13-3. That's two games straight that the Wolverines have won by exactly ten runs.

Vestaburg's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Coleman, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coleman couldn't quite get it done against Vestaburg in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 as they fell 10-7. Can the Comets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
