Basketball Recap: Carnegie Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Carnegie extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Duane Cavaness. The Carnegie Wildcats escaped with a win on Friday against the Epic Charter Comments by the margin of a single free throw, 55-54 thanks in part to Cavaness, who went 7 for 11 to rack up 21 points and six rebounds. Those 21 points gave him a new career-high.

Carnegie is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season. As for Epic Charter, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Carnegie will take on Blair at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Epic Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
