Football Recap: Solon Takes a Loss

Solon managed to keep up with Twinsburg until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Comets lost 27-3 to the Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 328th, while the Tigers are ranked 129th).

Solon has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Twinsburg, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Solon is set to challenge their familiar foe Brecksville-Broadview Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Twinsburg will square off against rival North Royalton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
