Volleyball Recap: Grantsburg Comes Up Short

Grantsburg lost against Hudson on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pirates took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ruby Rengo paced Grantsburg's offense, picking up eight kills. Rengo got some help from Megan Harmon and her seven assists.

Grantsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Hudson, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Grantsburg will be playing in front of their home fans against Shell Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hudson, they will head out to challenge Eau Claire North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Raiders their first taste of in-conference action this season.
