Basketball Recap: Bruceville-Eddy Takes a Loss

Bruceville-Eddy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Marlin Bulldogs 90-25. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-12.

Bruceville-Eddy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Marlin, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-4.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Riesel the next time they take the court. Bruceville-Eddy will host Riesel at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while Marlin will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th.
