Recap: Philip Scotties vs. Crazy Horse Chiefs
The Philip Scotties scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 74-20 victory over Crazy Horse at home. With that win, Philip brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.
Philip got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Josie Jones out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Jones is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Terkildsen, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
The victory got Philip back to even at 4-4. As for Crazy Horse, they bumped their record down to 1-7 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Philip will challenge New Underwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crazy Horse's road trip will continue as they head out to face Takini at 4:00 p.m. on January 12th. Takini comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
