Moorpark won the last time they faced Royal and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Musketeers had just enough and edged out the Highlanders 15-13. Given the Musketeers' advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Highlanders are ranked 338th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Moorpark now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Royal, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Moorpark will face off against rival Simi Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Royal is set to take on their familiar foe Oak Park at 7:15 p.m. on the 9th.
