North Harrison scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 76-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Charlestown Pirates. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 301st, while the Pirates are ranked 82nd).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Charlestown to victory, but perhaps none more so than AJ Todd, who posted 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave Todd a new career-high in points. Parker Odle was another key player, going 8 of 11 on his way to 21 points.

This is the second loss in a row for North Harrison and nudges their season record down to 4-11. As for Charlestown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Harrison will square off against West Washington at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Charlestown, they will face off against Austin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
