Softball Recap: Fairmont Firebirds vs. Springfield Wildcats
Fairmont won the last time they faced Springfield and things went their way on Friday too. The Firebirds blew past the Wildcats 11-4.

Jaylin Turner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 15 Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.4 strikeouts per game.
