Baseball Recap: George School's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Friends Select, George School was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 14-10 win over the Academy of the New Church Lions. Considering the Cougars' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

George School's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-9. As for Academy of the New Church, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

George School will square off against Abington Friends at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Academy of the New Church does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
