Brookland had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.2 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Westside Warriors as they made off with a 6-1 victory. Brookland might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by three goals or more this season.

Brookland's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matches. As for Westside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8-1.

Looking ahead, Brookland will be playing in front of their home fans against Wynne at 5:00 p.m. on May 2. As for Westside, they have already played their next contest, a 6-3 win against Mountain View on the 28th.
