Soccer Recap: Danville Takes a Loss

Danville was the 4-2 winner over Star City when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Little Johns fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Friday.

Danville's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-3. As for Star City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-2 record this season.

Danville and Star City are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Little Johns will take on Lisa Academy North at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Danville will be up against Lisa Academy North's rather soft defense (which has allowed six goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Star City, they will challenge Bauxite at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
