There's no place like home for New Albany, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Providence Pioneers on Friday, sneaking past 48-46. The 48-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

New Albany pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Providence, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 14-3.

Coming up, New Albany will head out on the road to face off against Corydon Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Providence, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Scott County at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Providence is facing Scott County at the right time seeing as Scott County is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
