Football Recap: Arvada West Gets the Win + How To Watch

On Friday Arvada West's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 35-34 W against the Legend Titans. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by just one point.

Logan Duhachek had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 378 yards and three TDs, while also punching in one score on the ground. Those 378 passing yards gave him a new career-high. 160 of Duhachek's passing yards were hauled in by Keegen Balistreri, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Legend's loss came despite strong showings from Dj Bordeaux and Ryken Banks. Bordeaux rushed for 154 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries, while Banks gained 145 total yards and three touchdowns.

Arvada West's record is now 4-0. As for Legend, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Arvada West and Legend should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. The Wildcats will take on Overland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (6 vs. 112). Meanwhile, Legend (ranked fifth) will meet Castle View (ranked 45th) at 6:30 p.m. on the 26th.
