After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brooklyn Technical, Lincoln was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the New Dorp Central Cougars 3-1. The Railsplitters haven't had any issues with the Central Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for New Dorp, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Coincidentally, Lincoln and New Dorp will both be playing Midwood the next time they take the field. The Railsplitters will head out to face the Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Central Cougars will head out to face them at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
