Softball Game Preview: Waynedale Bears vs. Carrollton Warriors

The Waynedale Bears will square off against the Carrollton Warriors at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Waynedale is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Waynedale lost 14-1 to Norwayne on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Carrollton beat Fairless 6-3 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won three in a row.

Carrollton's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Paityn Crank, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Carrollton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2025.

Waynedale's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Carrollton, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.
