Monarch had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They were the clear victors by  a  17-1 margin over the Olympic Heights Lions. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by eight  runs or more this season.
The team  relied heavily on  Sara Connor, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in February.  Faith Lindeman was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with four  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base.
 Monarch was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .423. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .368 or higher in six consecutive  matches.
Monarch now  has a winning record of 9-8. As for Olympic Heights, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monarch will challenge Nova at 3:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Titans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.09  runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Olympic Heights, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Atlantic Christian  at 6:00  p.m. The Lions are facing the Sharks at the right time seeing as the Sharks are stuck on  a  six-game losing streak.
