Logos Prep Academy suffered their biggest defeat since November 21, 2023 on Tuesday. They were the victim of a tough 61-40 defeat at the hands of Bay Area Christian. Logos Prep Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the defeat, Logos Prep Academy saw an underclassman step up: Caleb Sedgwick scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Nolan Bromberg, who scored six points.
St. Thomas Episcopal pushed their record up to 17-6 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.83 points. As for Logos Prep Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: St. Thomas Episcopal hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 74.3 points per game. It's a different story for Logos Prep Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 43 points per game. The only thing between St. Thomas Episcopal and another offensive beatdown is Logos Prep Academy. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Everything came up roses for St. Thomas Episcopal against Logos Prep Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 88-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Thomas Episcopal since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
