With a playoff win on the line, Thomas MacLaren School rose to the challenge on Friday. They managed a 33-28 win over The Vanguard School Coursers. This was payback for the Highlanders, who suffered a 57-20 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Jordyn Christensen and Lily Blanchard certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Christensen dropped a double-double with ten points and 14 boards, while Blanchard posted nine points and six rebounds. Blanchard has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 21 times she's played.

Thomas MacLaren School's victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for The Vanguard School, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-11.

Thomas MacLaren School has already played their next matchup, a 51-45 defeat against Salida on the 8th. The Vanguard School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
