Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Merrill). They were the clear victors by a 20-8 margin over the Lakeland Thunderbirds on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-2 on Saturday.

The victory made it two in a row for Merrill and bumps their season record up to 2-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for Lakeland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Merrill will host Wausau West at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeland, they will head out to face off against Northland Pines at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
