Volleyball Recap: Mobridge-Pollock Falls Short of Platte/Geddes in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mobridge-Pollock can now relate to. They fell just short of the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Black Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in September.

Mobridge-Pollock wouldn't go down easily and took Platte/Geddes into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-23, 25-21, 22-25, 16-14.

Mobridge-Pollock's loss dropped their record down to 18-17. As for Platte/Geddes, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-19.

As of now, neither Mobridge-Pollock nor the Black Panthers have any future games scheduled.
