Softball Game Preview: Bishop Union Broncos vs. Lone Pine Golden Eagles

The Bishop Union Broncos will head out to challenge the Lone Pine Golden Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bishop Union can't be to happy about their upcoming road match considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Friday. They came up short against Immanuel Christian, falling 17-7.

Meanwhile, Lone Pine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-6 to Desert.

Bishop Union took their win against Lone Pine when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 17-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bishop Union since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
